"Growing up, my sister and I loved watching dog shows on TV with my mom and our grandmother. I can remember pretending to win Best in Show with our family dog on the sidewalk in front of our home. I received a Christmas card from a family friend in 1995 and it had two yellow Labrador puppies on the cover. I asked my mom if I could use my Christmas money that year and buy a puppy. She reluctantly agreed and to both of our surprise I found a breeder in our area that would allow us to visit that very night. When I entered her home my love for the adorable puppies on the card only deepened.

I choose a robust yellow boy that became to be know as Toby. Toby was a dog very similar to the dog known in John Grogan's novel, Marley and Me. He and I had the most amazing adventures together and sparked my undying love for the breed. I was blessed to have Toby for sixteen years and loved every second of it. When Toby passed away I wanted to finally accomplish my life long dream of owning a show dog.

Shortly after his passing I got my first conformation show dog, Murphy. He is that once in a lifetime dog that is so eager to please that he has excelled in multiple venues and taught me so much along the way.

I have owned and loved this breed for almost 25 year and am committed to preserving the pure bred Labrador Retriever."
